Photos: Marcus Rashford back in training giving Man United boost ahead of possible restart

Manchester United’s return to first-team training this week has some fans excited that a restart could be on the horizon.

The Reds have been arriving in Carrington in small groups and completing simple training drills while remaining socially distanced.

It’s uplifting to see United back on the training field as it provides a small glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel.

And another sign of encouragement is seeing Marcus Rashford back at the training ground after being injured since January after suffering a double stress fracture in his back during the FA Cup replay victory against Wolves.

Rashford has become Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s talisman at Old Trafford and had tallied 14 Premier League goals already before his injury.

The England international has found his home on the inside left-channel in Solskjaer’s preferred front three and is a player the Norwegian can build his team around for years to come.

It now looks like Solskjaer will have a fully-fit squad to pick from when the Premier League resumes with Paul Pogba also recovering from his ankle knock.

Hopefully we get to see the Reds back in action sooner rather than later!
