Video – Man United target scores within 40 seconds of Bundesliga return

Manchester United target Alassane Plea has scored after just 37 seconds for Borussia Monchengladbach on their Bundesliga return after the coronavirus outbreak.

Plea has been in fantastic form this season and has immediately carried on where he left off here with a fine finish past Eintracht Frankfurt goalkeeper Kevin Trapp.

According to Sky Germany, as sourced by the Metro, United have ‘intensified’ their interest in the 27-year-old in recent weeks and discussions are underway concerning a possible move to Old Trafford.

The Frenchman is a versatile attacking forward who is valued at around €24million (£21m) by his Bundesliga outfit.

If Plea can continue his fine form, it could potentially peak interest from other suitors with the entirety of Europe currently fixated on the Bundesliga.

His eighth goal in the league this term came in impressive fashion as he slid he ball into the bottom corner to give Monchengladbach the lead despite having lost balance.
