Jack Grealish has sights set on joining Man Utd, claims former Aston Villa striker

Former Aston Villa striker Darren Bent has backed Jack Grealish to make a big career move this summer.

Villa’s future in the Premier League is also in doubt but no-one knows when the 2019/20 season will be concluded as the coronavirus continues to spread and kill people across the world.

Speaking about Grealish, Bent told Football Insider: “I think Grealish has got his sights set on maybe three teams. I would say probably United, City, and potentially maybe Spurs.

“I think they’re the three that are looking at him, and he’s eyeing them thinking ‘I’d like to go to one of them.’ I’d probably put Man United at the very top of that. You never know but for me he’s got his eye on them.”

TalkSPORT are one of many outlets that has linked Grealish with a summer move to Old Trafford, and it’s a story we are paying close attention to because it’s showing no signs of going away.

Even with Grealish recently involved in a car accident, allegedly under the influence of alcohol during the UK’s lockdown, transfer updates are non-stop.

And it has always seemed like United would go for one of Grealish or Leicester City’s James Maddison in the summer.

This season alone, the Villa man would be my pick of the two, but he must keep his head down and take responsibility for his actions on and off the pitch.

We expect Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to make that clear before he makes any signings this summer.
