Making his international debut in 2016, Soteldo has made 17 appearances for Venezuela and if United didn’t know about him before they do now.
In his first transfer window as MUFC boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer signed Daniel James, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Harry Maguire. He then brought Bruno Fernandes and Odion Ighalo to the club in January.
We can expect more young and hungry players to join in the summer. Like Fernandes and Ighalo, players who genuinely want to play for Manchester United. Soteldo has done his bit to put himself on the club’s radar with his recent comments, and we’ll definitely keep track of his progress at Santos.
United are back in action on Sunday as they host Man City in the Premier League.
