Confirmed Man Utd XI to face Watford: Six changes as Greenwood starts, McTominay on bench

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has named his starting eleven for this afternoon’s Premier League tie against Watford.

In their most recent league outing, Manchester United beat Chelsea 2-0 at Stamford Bridge thanks to goals from Harry Maguire and Anthony Martial.

Both players start today against The Hornets.

United had a midweek game against Club Brugge in the Europa Legaue on Thursday night, drawing the game 1-1 but coming away with an important away goal after resting several players.

A win today is crucial for our bid for top four.

The pressure is building on Solskjaer but the addition of Bruno Fernandes will be a big boost as United try to break teams down. Something they’ve struggled to do all season — prior to his January arrival.

With David de Gea in between the sticks, United’s defence consists of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Maguire, Victor Lindelof and Luke Shaw.

It looks like a midfield three with Fred, Nemanja Matic, and Bruno Fernandes while Mason Greenwood, Anthony Martial and Daniel James take up the attacking positions.

Scott McTominay has also been named on the bench.
