You don’t know what you are going to get with Eric Bailly.
The Ivorian defender started tonight’s game against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
At the beginning he was all over the place, losing the ball in bad positions and taking an earful from Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at one point for not keeping in line with Harry Maguire.
However, he grew into the game and made a laughing-stock of Chelsea forward Michy Batshuayi, who earlier felt the force of Maguire kicking out.
The centre-back showed how calm he can be in the heart of defence with a stepover faint inside his own box (footage courtesy of Sky Sports):

Bailly gets a lot of criticism for being rash but if it wasn’t for injuries we’d be talking about a top defender.
Hopefully he gets a good run in the team between now and the remainder of the season.
Solskjaer must also come to a decision with Bailly’s contract set to expire in the summer.
