Man Utd star Paul Pogba open to Juve return, says agent

Mino Raiola has flirted with the idea of Paul Pogba returning to Juventus.

Pogba — who is recovering from an ankle injury — has been strongly linked to Serie A champions Juventus and La Liga giants Real Madrid, with the midfield said to unhappy at Manchester United, as reported by The Sun.

The 26-year-old left United for Juve in 2012 but returned to Old Trafford in 2016 for a then-world record transfer fee of £89.3m.

Raiola put Pogba’s United future in fresh doubt after watching Juve’s 1-1 draw against 10-man Milan in the opening leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final on Thursday.

“Italy is like home for Paul,” the Italian agent said (via beIN SPORTS). “He would not mind going back to Juve but we will see what will happen after the Euros.

“Paul wants to play at the best level but he can’t escape by Manchester United if they are in a difficult situation.”

To make matters worse, it has been an injury-ravaged season for Pogba. And he hasn’t ever come out to offer clarity to his situation which can give fans the impression he doesn’t care and would just prefer to be anywhere else but Old Trafford.

The World Cup winner has only managed eight games across all competitions for United. Hopefully he will return by March and help us clinch a top four spot.
