Manchester United are not the only club to have held a ceremony to remember those who lost their lives after the Munich Air Disaster.
Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rumenigge headed the delegation at the Munich air disaster memorial at Manchesterplatz.
On Thursday, a commemoration ceremony was held to mark the 62nd anniversary of the disaster. Bayern club president Herbert Hainer and honorary president Ali Hoeneß were joined by Munich City Coucillor Christian Vorländer and representatives of the Manchester Munich Memorial Foundation (MMMF).
Rummenigge thanked everyone who had been involved in the creation of the new showcase.

It’s lovely to see another great club show this level of respect.
Munich have dominated the German league for some time now and we hope we’ll be back facing them in the Champions League soon.
