Rashford plays down fears he could miss FA Cup replay against Wolves

It was a hectic day for Marcus Rashford when Manchester United took on Norwich City.

Not only did he score a brace, including his 40th goal for Man Utd, Rashford played his 200th game for the club.

Unfortunately he was replaced at the beginning of the second half — whilst on a hat-trick — after sustaining some sort of knock.

When asked if our top scorer will be available against Wolves, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told the official Manchester United website: “I don’t know. If he’s ready, and if I decide to play him, you’ll see. He’s played many games and I might have to look at it and see how we can manage him. But, we’ve got a week off very soon — in February.”

However, Rashford took it upon himself to give his fans an update via social media.

The England international says it was only a precaution and that he will be ready to play on Wednesday night, as seen below:

This is better news that the line given by Solskjaer, who appears to be keeping his cards close to his chest, which is wise given how Wolves were able to force us into a replay.

Rashford has been in incredible form of late, scoring goals for fun after a period in the team that saw him heavily criticised for his end product.

Solskjaer deserves credit for getting the best out of Rashford.
