Timothy Fosu-Mensah has spent the last couple of seasons out on loan. The Netherlands defender didn’t have great spells at Crystal Palace or Fulham, but he will be hoping he can impress at Manchester United after recovering from a serious knee injury.
The injury has ruled him out of action up until now, so he hasn’t even spent a minute on the pitch for the first team.
That must be tough for the young lad, to come back from a long-term injury when you’re still developing and trying to establish yourself at a top club.

Last might he started his comeback for the U23 side and in the clip below (via MUTV) it looks like men against boys as he drives the length of the pitch before a superb save from the goalkeeper denies him:

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side needs help in defence and Fosu-Mensah might get a chance to show what he can bring to the table.
He certainly looks quick and good with the ball at his feet.
The Reds ended the game with a 2-1 win over Newcastle United.
