Manchester United defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah has sent the United faithful a heartfelt message ahead of his transfer to Bayer Leverkusen.
Fosu-Mensah, 23, joined United’s youth academy in 2014 after making the switch from Ajax.
Despite enjoying successful loan spells with Crystal Palace and Fulham, the 23-year-old defender always struggled to cement his place in the Red Devils’ first-team.
After making just 30 senior first-team appearances, Fosu-Mensah’s time at Old Trafford has finally come to an end after completing a £1.8m move to Bayer Leverkusen, as per Sky Sports.
Ahead of his transfer to Germany, the versatile Dutch defender took to his social media to send fans a classy and heartfelt message.
Good luck, Timothy!
