A photo has emerged on twitter of Erling Haaland appearing to sign a Manchester United shirt.

While we cannot confirm whether the photo is indeed genuine, it is certainly intriguing and can’t be ignored.

The RB Salzburg striker is one of the most coveted young players across Europe and it is believed a host of clubs are chasing his signature.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer needs attacking reinforcements and Haaland has been rumoured to be his prime target for the upcoming transfer window.

When asked about the future of Haaland in a press conference after the draw against Everton on Sunday, Solskjaer cryptically said, as quoted by the BBC:

“He knows what he wants to do and knows what he is going to do,” 

“I don’t have to offer any advice to other teams’ players.”

Haaland has scored 24 goals for Austrian side Red RB Salzburg already this season, a hugely impressive record despite the lower standard of football he is playing in.
