Alan Brazil’s strong source claims ‘Pogba will never play for United again’

Paul Pogba has apparently played his final game for Man Utd.

That’s according to a “very strong source” in contact with former Manchester United player turned radio host Alan Brazil.

The France international has been linked with a move to Real Madrid for some time and it seems inevitable to happen in 2020.

Pogba has only played five times in the Premier League this season with injuries ruling him out for a long period of time.

The midfielder was brought back to Old Trafford in 2016 after impressing in a strong Juventus side, however, his time at the club has been underwhelming to say the least.

It could be argued that he’s not always had the best players around him at United, but surely a World Cup winner once regarded as one of the best midfielders in the world should be delivering on a more consistent basis.

And now it seems as though a January move is on, with a source revealing to talkSPORT host Brazil that Pogba will never play for United again.

Brazil said on Monday’s Sports Breakfast: “Someone has just told me, and it’s not just a random text, I know this guy and he does know a lot about United and what has gone on.

“He says: ‘From a very strong source — Pogba will NEVER play for United again’.

“Now, take that the way you want it, I don’t know who has told him but that is what he is saying.

“Because I was thinking the other night, ‘What has happened to him, where is he?’

“Pogba posted a video of himself playing basketball last week, despite the injury, drawing criticism from fans.

“Look that’s the source; he has told me he will never play for United again.”

United are currently ninth in the Premier League and 20 points adrift of current leaders Liverpool. While that is unacceptable, it doesn’t help that a star player has been out injured and could be about to force his way out of the club.

We won’t lose any sleep if Pogba does leave in January but it would be far from ideal. He should respect his contract, continue working hard for his team-mates and stay until the summer at the very least.

This is a situation Solskjaer could do without!
