Sky Sports reporter and pundit Anton Toloui has claimed he has not seen a high profile midfielder ‘more suited to the Premier League’ than Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.
The Serbian international is said to be on Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s radar this summer and Sky Sports are reporting that the Reds are ready to offer £72m to sign the midfielder.
Lazio are said to be holding out for closer to £90m for their star man, who was voted best midfielder in the Serie A last season.

Solskjaer still needs two midfielders this summer following the exit of Marouane Fellaini and Ander Herrera, and Milinkovic-Savic would be the perfect start. The Serbian has the all round game suited to the Premier League and would instantly improve United’s midfield, unlike a more youthful addition like Sean Longstaff from Newcastle who still needs time to develop having had little first-team experience.
