Tifo Football has released a brilliant video on Manchester United, using data to suggest specific signings who would address problematic areas on the pitch to accommodate Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s tactics.

Ibrahima Konate and Marc-Oliver Kempf come up as defensive options, but Félix Eboa Eboa is their preferred choice at centre-back, noting his pin-point accuracy when it comes forward passes.
With Antonio Valencia after leaving the Red Devils, Solskjaer needs to find a new right-back. Even though the club looks set to sign Aaron Wan-Bissaka of Crystal Palace, Tifo have other suggestions who would be undoubtedly cheaper.
Ruben Aguilar and Pedro Porro could be seen as alternatives to AWB, but the top pick is Rubén Peña – a winger converted right-back, currently at Eibar. He is said to offer around the same as Diogo Dalot defensively but more going forward.
The defensive midfielder segment threw up some interesting observations and names you would also consider under the radar. In fact, it would make you want to go back playing FIFA again to unearth some unknown talents and build a side to conquer all of Europe.
Hoffenheim’s Florian Grillitsch is the first name suggested for the DMF role due to his fine reading of the game.
However, Toulouse midfielder Ibrahim Sangare is their preferred star to replace Nemanja Matic at United. A player noted for keeping possession ticking, not over-complicating things and his ability to bypass pressure in a variety of ways.
All of this is well and good but data doesn’t cover the naked eye of through scouting.
