Adrien Rabiot offered £170k-per-week to join Man Utd – French reports

The Adrien Rabiot stories are picking up pace.

As claimed by the Manchester Evening News, Manchester United remain interested in signing the France international as he decides on his next destination.

Reports in France now claim Rabiot has been offered £170,000-a-week to become a United player.

Le 10 Sport adds that there could be an additional bonus of a €5m signing on fee.

But with Ander Herrera’s contract now expired, the Reds should be looking to sign top high-quality midfielders this summer, and arguably another if we sell Paul Pogba.

The PSG midfielder didn’t play a lot of football last season and needs to prove himself again. If he has the hunger to get his career back on track, why not bring him in on a Bosman?

Rabiot is represented by his mother, Veronique, so she will also have a say in where her son ends up this summer.

Not having Champions League football next season will leave United at a disadvantage against competitors, but some players will look at the rich tradition of this great club and sign wanting to break us back to the good old days.
