Man Utd keeping tabs on promising £35m starlet along with Liverpool and Spurs

The Mirror claims that Manchester United are one of three Premier League clubs keeping tabs on Gedson Fernandes.

The 20-year-old Benfica midfielder is also reportedly being monitored by Tottenham and Liverpool, so a move to England may well be on the cards this summer.

Though from 37 appearances this season, Fernandes has managed to score just once yet the report claims he is valued at £35m.

That’s pricey for an unproven player.

While Spurs are reportedly front runners for his signature, it sounds like Fernandes will have choice to make, with Benfica likely to cash in on some of their most valuable assets this summer.

Both Joao Felix and Ruben Dias have been linked with moves to Old Trafford, but those two players are also targets for Champions League teams next season.

United are in the Europa League.

This could be a signing for the future, however, he could probably walk into the team given how poor it’s been this season. You can’t plan for the future if you haven’t for the right foundations in place.

Fingers crossed they get their shit in order.
