Manchester United, Liverpool and Everton are lining up moves for Wigan’s teenage sensation Joe Gelhardt, according to ESPN.
Gelhardt, 16, is highly regarded as a prolific striker and one of the most exciting youngsters in the country in his age bracket.
He broke into Wigan’s U18’s as a 15-year-old and is now a regular in the side, while he has represented England at U15 and U16 level.

Gelhardt went on to impress for England at the Montaigu Tournament in France in April – netting twice in four appearances to help the Three Lions finish third.
His performances for club and country have forced the attention of a number of clubs from the very top of English football.

The report suggests United have been keeping tabs on Gelhardt for some time after being alerted to his potential.
While Wigan are said to be determined to keep hold of Gelhardt, fighting off interest from top-flight clubs won’t be easy.
