Federico Valverde has been linked with a move to Manchester United over the last few days, and Real Madrid are now prepared to sanction his departure.

A report recently claimed that Manchester United want to sign the 27-year-old central midfielder from Real Madrid. Now, Fichajes are reporting that the Spanish club is prepared to sanction his departure. Manchester United would be willing to pay close to €100 million (£87m) for him.

Federico Valverde would be a superb signing

The 27-year-old has been exceptional for Real Madrid, and there is no doubt that he could improve Manchester United as well. It will be interesting to see if they can convince him to join the club. He will look to join an elite club where he will be able to fight for major trophies. The move to Manchester United might come across as a step down for him. They finished in the bottom half of the league table last season, and they have been quite poor this season.

Can Man United convince Valverde?

Manchester United can forget about signing a player of his quality if they do not secure Champions League qualification for the next season. If they do, however, manage to get the deal done, it would be an exceptional acquisition. He is one of the best midfielders in world football, and he has been previously described as “irreplaceable”.

It remains to be seen how the situation develops. Manchester United will look to get back to the top of English football once again, and they need elite players to do so. The South American would be an exceptional addition, and he could transform them.

Valverde is at the peak of his powers, and this could be the right time for him to take on a new challenge and move to the Premier League. He will look to establish himself as a key star in English football.

  1. I ‘m sorry to say utd did not invest in go quality players they spend good money and they did not improve in football game although you need a good manager but you need quality players and if they dont be carefull will fight for relegation I never seen Utd this bad in my hole life in 70 ‘s they were better good luck thanks

  2. Amorim is always moaning abt what he doesn’t have n to get the players will take time n money n if the player are interested to join… He doesn’t want to utilise what talent he have just bcos he is too ego to change his doomed system.. There are lots of talented n good players at MU but in Amorim’s eyes he only see Bruno, Mount, Dalot, Shaw, Zirkzee n! Bayindir as the players that is worth to play week in week out.. I think those 6 players are very good lickers to Amorim’s liking.. Favorism doesn’t get him anywhere with those 6 useless players…

  3. The MU team can qualify for Champion League next season, if they sell off Bruno Fernandes as soon as possible, this Porguese bastard is the main culprit, who is controlling the tempo of the games, he wants to be the main man in the team and he wants the whole team to play according to his style.
He is putting the manager under the bus
cause, Amorim is not using him in his
    favourite position.
So you critics stop just looking that the manager and commenting about the manager and his system. How many managers you guys want to change.
Even Pep will give up with this team if Bruno is still playing. Get that Porguese Bruno bastard out now.
