Manchester United are reportedly close to sealing their first major sale of the summer, as Jadon Sancho appears set to join Juventus.
The 25-year-old spent the last 18 months on loan between Borussia Dortmund and Chelsea.
The Blues had the obligation to buy the winger for £25 million, but despite the player’s ‘amazing’ displays earlier in the season, they relieved themselves of this clause by paying a £5 million penalty, thus sending him back to Carrington. However, the London native has been bluntly told that he has no place in Ruben Amorim’s plans.
Therefore, Sancho and four other Man Utd outcasts have asked to leave the club this summer.
Juventus closing in on Jadon Sancho

Luckily for the Man City youth product, he found himself a keen suitor in the shape of Juventus who identified him as a key target.
The Serie A giants have been making significant progress in their attempts to land Sancho, and it now appears that the deal has reached its final stages.
According to Turkish journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu (via UtdXclusive), the player’s agent has landed in Turin ahead of crunch talks with Juventus.
The aim is to find a swift accord on personal terms, which would pave the way for an agreement between the two clubs.
Sancho’s agent lands in Turin
It is believed that Man Utd are willing to facilitate the move by dropping their asking price from the original £25 million, and might even be willing to offer the player severance pay to recompense him for the expected salary drop.
| Sancho’s stats by club | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
| Borussia Dortmund | 158 | 53 | 67 |
| Man United | 83 | 12 | 6 |
| Chelsea | 41 | 5 | 10 |
This transfer would put an end to an unhappy stint that began in the summer 2021, when Sancho arrived at Old Trafford as one of the most exciting young players in the world, but fell spectacularly short of expectations, making him of the most disappointing signings of the current era.

Sancho an amazing star don’t make me laugh
I’d let him sit on the bench until his contract expires and see you would even take him for free
Good thought
Yeah let’s let Sancho rot on the bench all season….. Meanwhile let’s still pay him 250k a week….. Does that make sense to you?? Seriously it’s rhetorical… Don’t answer
bogu hvala da ga se rešimo posto poto , neverovatno kako to čudovište ima obraza da se pojavi u bilo kojem obliku obična budjava istrosena krpa
Coach TH ex man u and not liverkusen started all this shxxt and now he can’t progress same as sacho…it shall be well with the young lad
Sancho pancha
United to recompense Sancho, ffs.
How much compensation is Sancho paying for being rubbish
This is not Sancho fault
Just get Sancho & the other Dross out, get Mbuemo done and play the younger boys like, Leon, Dorgu, Kone, Chido. I think playing fewer games we could cause sides a lot of issues, because they won’t have any analysis of the youngsters. Youth is the Man Utd way!
Good luck as you are going to juventus if the deal is completed
In my humble view , Jadon Sancho is a victim of managerial descrepancy and the million dollar question is , how come Sancho resonated well on loan stints yet deemed a complete failure at Carrington . M ready to bet he will be a resounding success at Juventus should the deal succeed. Wish you luck Jadon , the sky is the limit.
Because of his sub par attitude ! Where did he do well . Chelsea who are buying everybody paid 5 million to get rid
Sancho didn’t do well on loan stints, he was bang average, hence Chelsea paying £5million to not take him
Sancho just like Rashford and Garnacho is a good player. However, the trio should learn how be professional and humble themselves before the manager. That is, if they want to go far in football. I wish him and the rest two well in their footballing career. Why did Chelsea not make his transfer permanent? Why did Aston Villa not sign Rashford permanently? He may claim that he wants a champions’ league football. Why did he not take them to champions’ league? Why is Garnacho finding it difficult to land a contract? All in all, I see some level of arrogance in the trio. They have to individually deal with this cancer of arrogance.
All of our young forward have to go, so sad, Greenwood,Rashford,Garnacho
Very true, however the club need to resolve these issues behind doors to let harmony prevail….. unlike keep on rebuilding team year after years, this waist time to settle with new players
If I was Sancho I will want to stay at all cost and redeem myself than to depart as the most disappointing signing of this era.
Playing for ManU is not easy when all other clubs play at their best against us hence why they do well elsewhere coz it’s not the same. Respect to Maguire, Bruno and Luke… Just a pity we let McTom go
