Fabrizio Romano has just revealed the identities of the five Manchester United stars who have asked to leave the club.

The Red Devils have been busy in their attempts to recruit new stars. They have already signed Matheus Cunha on a £62.5 million, and they’re expecting to seal a deal for Bryan Mbeumo on somewhat similar figures, even though they’ve been encountering difficulties in their talks with Brentford.

In addition to the attacking duo, INEOS are also aiming to add a centre-forward capable of guaranteeing goals, and they could also address their midfield and goalkeeping issues.

Nevertheless, United are operating on a relatively limited budget, especially after failing to qualify for Europe next season. Therefore, they can only boost their transfer kitty through sales.

Five Man United players wish to leave the club

According to Romano, five Man Utd stars have volunteered to leave the club by handing in transfer requests. The men in question are Marcus Rashford, Antony, Alejandro Garnacho, Tyrell Malacia, and Jadon Sancho.

“BREAKING: Marcus Rashford, Antony, Alejandro Garnacho, Tyrell Malacia, Jadon Sancho have all informed Manchester United they wish to leave,” posted the Italian journalist on his X account.

“Man Utd have delayed their return date until later in July to allow them time to explore solutions further.”

However, Man United fans on social media have been slightly sceptical of this piece of information, as the five players who reportedly asked to leave, are conveniently the ones who have been omitted from Ruben Amorim’s plans.

Hence, many believe it was actually the other way around, with the club giving these players their marching orders, while they had no other option but to oblige.

Rashford & Co already have one foot out the door

Sancho has been away on loan for the last 18 months, and has recently emerged as a primary candidate to join Juventus.

Rashford, Antony and Malacia left the club in January on brief loan spells, while Alejandro Garnacho remained at Carrington until the end of the season, but his differences with Amorim came to the light in the Europa League final, when the manager dropped him from the starting lineup, with the latter responding with fiery post-match interview.

  1. We want them moved on as soon as possible to create space for new and committed signings.

  2. Man utd needs to buy a quality striker, a goalkeeper and a midfielder. If Oshimen is available they should purchase him without hesitation.

  3. I think what has costed man utd over the years is the tendency of bringing managers what want to implement their different styles of play rather than playing the man utd way.A club like Brighton has it’s own style of play, they just look for a manager who fits in it but you wonder why that is not the case at a club of man utd’s calibre.Good players with high potential are ever deemed surplus to requirement yet they have gone on to succeed elsewhere. When dropping Rashford from the team in December, the manager said he was “setting up some standards” but i looked at our position on the league table and wondered what kind of standard he was setting up.Continue setting up those so called “standards” in this transfer window but i can inform that the first ten league games will be enough to determine your future.GOOD LUCK

  4. Get these players out of the club ASAP. Most fans want rid of these 5 players immediately, but it’s not as easy as that. Their high wages is the problem. Each of them must take a pay cut if they really want to play football next season and get a place in their country world cup squad. Antony, Rashford,Garnacho, and Sancho, need to find a club quickly if they have any ambition to play in the Worl Cup next year.
Casemiro has won his place back on the Brazilian team, but he could lose it again if he doesn’t move to one of the Saudi clubs, as he won’t be getting many if any games with United this season if we intend to bring in Ndidi and Mainoo is back to full fitness. He should move out now, if he really wants to play in world cup.
