‘Unstoppable’ Man Utd star could finally seal his dream move as Fabrizio Romano delivers shocking breaking news

Fabrizio Romano during an interview.
Fabrizio Romano shared his understanding on one Manchester United player’s situation.

Manchester United outcast Marcus Rashford has received a major boost as Barcelona have missed out on signing their top summer target.

The 27-year-old is an academy product of the Red Devils who went on to become the club’s biggest attraction. Former United manager Erik ten Hag once described him as ‘unstoppable’, but the Dutchman’s successor, Ruben Amorim, decided to exclude him from his plans after taking the reins at Carrington.

Therefore, Rashford spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa, where he managed to find his feet again by scoring two goals and providing four assists in all competitions. However, the Villans opted against purchasing him for £40 million, especially after missing out on Champions League football.

In the meantime, Rashford has been dreaming about fulfilling his longtime desire of playing for Barcelona, but the Catalans placed him in the background while focusing on luring Nico Williams.

But according to Fabrizio Romano, the Blaugrana have fallen short in their attempts to land the Spanish winger who has now signed a new contract with Athletic Bilbao valid until 2035. The deal also saw the winger’s release clause (originally set at €58 million) rise by 50%.

The Italian journalist thus confirms that Williams’ transfer to Barcelona is now dead in the water due to registration issues.

Williams’ collapsed move hands assist to Marcus Rashford?

This will be music to the ears of Rashford, as the LaLiga champions may decide to accelerate their attempts to relieve him from his Man Utd misery.

However, the issues that plagued Williams’ botched transfer to Barcelona could return to haunt the Englishman as well, as the Spanish giants have been struggling to balance their accounts in recent years which prompted the unwanted attention of LaLiga and their FFP rules.

Nevertheless, Rashford also has other suitors, including Bayern Munich, as exclusively revealed by Stretty News on Thursday, and confirmed by renowned German journalist Christian Falk on Friday morning.

Thus, the coming weeks couldd prove to be pivotal on this particular track.

  1. I hope Rashford gets is dream move to Barcelona. He has been the fans favourite what ever the problem was at United,
    Good Luck Marcus .

    1. Same here! I really wish him All the Best for his future! Fans of his should always remember what he’s always been saying, all he ever wanted since he was a little boy, was to play for Manchester United! He said it all the while up until the last season, whereby he started with ernest, scoring even, in the first few games for the present manager, but it was the manager that decided that he didn’t like what he thinks he saw! And ostracized him, blaming it on whatever he could pick on. Marcus Rashford had no chance!

Give the man a break! He deserves better!
If the manager believes n trust in you, you’ll usually try your damndest to prove him right! But right from the start, he was maligned already in the eyes of one.

Marcus proved it with Unai Emery, who believed in him from the start.

Marcus will always be my fav in MU.

      1. Absolute Garbage if you actually believe what you posted ‘YOU ARE DELUDED’
It is documented by a United insider that EVERY head coach since Sir Alex retired, has had problems with Trashford…But they have been hushed up. He has let himself down, he has let his team mates down in the worst possible way, he has let the club down and THE FANS…END OF

    1. I hope Rashford fulfills his dream ambitions to dawn the blaugrana jersey for a win win situation .

    2. It was MU that gave him that salary when they thought he deserved it. Whose fault is it!?! He also has stated that he’s willing to receive less, just to get out of the toxic place MU has become!

It cannot be nearly half the squad is all bad when it’s obviously the one who’s running the show now is all right!?! When do many start to perform better once they leave!?! Think! Easier to sack one rather than sack the whole squad!

  2. Rashford is ready even to be playing as a sub in the added minutes for the entire season. That’s how he yearns to dorn the Barca jersey

  3. It was MU that gave him that salary when they thought he deserved it. Whose fault is it!?! He also has stated that he’s willing to receive less, just to get out of the toxic place MU has become!

It cannot be nearly half the squad is all bad and the one who’s running the show now, is all right!?! Why then do so many players all start to perform better once they leave!?! Think! Easier to sack one rather than sack the whole squad!
