A report in the Spanish media claims Marcus Rashford would absolutely jump on the opportunity to play at Barcelona.

All signs point that the England international is heading towards the exit door in January, as he’s been dropped from the matchday squad in the club’s last four contests across all competitions after failing to leave a good impression on Ruben Amorim on the training field.

Moreover, the Portuguese manager hinted he’s unlikely to change his decision anytime soon, at least as long as the striker isn’t showing signs of improvement.

Hence, the writing is on the wall for Rashford who is bound to leave the nest sooner rather than later.

Over the past few weeks, the Englishman has been linked with a host of top European clubs, including the likes of Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain. But according to Fichajes.net, Rashford’s dream is to play for Barcelona at Camp Nou.

The Spanish website believes the Catalan giants could make the player’s wish come true, as they would like to bolster their attacking department since Hansi Flick doesn’t want his team to be over-reliant on Raphinha and Lamine Yamal who have been wreaking havoc on the wings.

But amidst their ongoing financial difficulties, splashing the cash for Rashford in January sounds like an implausible plan for the Blaugrana. Therefore, the operation could only go through if Man Utd are open to loaning out their outcasted star.

The source expects the two clubs to embark on direct talks in the next few weeks, while Rashford impatiently awaits to learn if his ‘dream’ move will come true.

This season, Rashford has contributed with seven goals in his 24 appearances this season, so he remains Man United’s top goalscorer despite being omitted from the last four outings.

  1. As a manchester lad .and a man u fan .is not playing for the club you supported not your dream. Think it shows your laziness on the pitch.that you would sooner run off when it gets bit tough for you .no. im staying here and im determined to win back my place .just oh im off .well just run off .bye

  2. I don’t like the way Amorim is treating Rushford. The team is struggling because of Rushford. He is better than Hojjuland who doesn’t know how to turn and face the keeper when he is given a ball.
The players in man u are very good but the problem is that system the manager is using. Let him try 4:3:3 and he will start getting good results.
