Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho is reportedly attracting serious interest from Saudi Pro League clubs, including Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr and the ambitious new project at NEOM SC, according to journalist Ben Jacobs.
The 20-year-old Argentine, once seen as a key figure in the club’s long-term plans, may now be headed for the exit amid growing uncertainty over his future at Old Trafford.
Garnacho has been a regular starter under manager Rúben Amorim throughout the 2024/25 campaign, featuring prominently in both domestic and European fixtures.

However, tensions reportedly flared between the player and Amorim following the Europa League final defeat in Bilbao, leading to a public fallout that has cast significant doubt over his position in the squad.
As a result, the young winger has been informed that he is free to find a new club during the upcoming transfer window.
The decision to part ways with Garnacho appears to be influenced not only by the breakdown in relations with Amorim but also by the club’s financial priorities.
INEOS, now overseeing football operations at United, have been vocal about the need to manage spending and balance the books amid Premier League Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) and Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations.
Given that Garnacho is an academy graduate, any transfer fee received would be recorded as pure profit, making his sale an appealing option to ease financial pressures.
Garnacho has several admirers

In addition to Al-Nassr and NEOM SC, Garnacho has previously been linked with moves to Chelsea and Napoli, both of whom remain interested in securing his signature.
However, Saudi clubs may hold a financial advantage, with their willingness to offer lucrative personal terms and substantial transfer fees.
Jacobs revealed during an appearance on The United Stand that the Saudi sides are closely monitoring the situation and may soon formalize their interest.
Man United have reportedly set an asking price of £60-70m for the young Argentine winger.

The decision to part ways with Garnacho appears to be influenced ONLY by the breakdown in relations with Amorim. Another manager the board are happy with in destroying youthful exuberance. from Mourinho to ten Hag, now Amorim, three managers who have created problems with players instead of managing them. Three poor managers whose egos are bigger than the Club
Finally, someone who sees the truth in all this.

Don’t fall out with the manager or you are out no matter how talented you are. Tetchy managers welcome to Old Trafford.
They can talk to players how they like, demeaning them in front of all their players, but don’t retaliate. You would think an older manager should be responsible to keep their cool under pressure.
He can perform well in chelsea
That is the same reason he won’t be sold to Chelsea

Are you serious? When are these modern players going to take accountability for their performances. Far too many at the club,so good riddance. Back the manager. Amorim will turn it around.
Garnacho’s performance has always been troubling, and not just under Amorim. While he is an exciting player to watch (as players with a direct style often are), and always seems ready to to try something, even if it’s just running at a defender, his end product is lacking. He often wastes shots or misses obvious passing/crossing opportunities – some of his wasted shots have been ridiculous. Also, form aside, his skillset is not well-suited to Amorim’s system – he plays best as a winger, not a 10 or wing-back.
Garnacho’s attitude has been a problem for a while. He was disciplined by Ten Hag as well as previoudly by Amorim (along with Rashford) and has a history of unhelpful social media comments. The recent falling out is just the latest chapter.
No player is bigger than the team. Garnacho appears to be beyond learning that lesson at Man Utd and it’s time for him to go.
It,s not.right for AMO to sale G. It is not his right time to be sale!
The selling of Garnacho is not right the moment
