“Armageddon” – Shocking Old Trafford scenes expected as Man Utd fans reach boiling point

Manchester United fans are reportedly planning a major protest against the club’s majority owners, the Glazer family.

The Glazers have been public enemy number one for the Red Army. They have been urged to sell the club for the best part of the last 15 years, but to no avail. The club’s supporters have been blaming the owners for their lack of interest in the club and their absurd management, considering it the main reason behind the ongoing free fall.

The Glazers sold a minority stake to Sir Jim Ratcliffe just over a year ago. The billionaire and his group, INEOS, also assumed control over the club’s day-to-day operations. And while Ratcliffe and his associates haven’t covered themselves in glory, many continue to defend them, considering their unpopular decisions a consequence of the Glazers’ abysmal administration.

So following last Sunday’s FA Cup elimination at the hands of Fulham, Man Utd supporters have reached their boiling point. According to a press release shared by Manchester Evening News journalist Samuel Luckhurst, the fans are invited to dress in black instead of their traditional red when the club hosts Arsenal at Old Trafford on Sunday.

The aim is apparently to create a shocking scene as a means of protest against the Glazers and the ‘financial Armageddon’ they caused, symbolising the club’s ‘slow death’ under their watch. The spokesman went on to describe the current crisis as the worst tragedy to hit the club since the Munich air disaster in 1958.

Therefore, it remains to be seen if the fanbase will respond to the call. It should be noted that the previous decade saw a large section of the club’s supporters don the traditional green and yellow, also as a way to protest the Glazers and try to force them out of the club, an objective that has yet to be achieved.

  1. Unless we hit the glazers where it will really hurt them which is in their pockets they will take absolutely no notice of the demonstrations and why should they even if we boycott the game they already have our money and most fans will be back in for the next game so the only way is to stop spending in the shops and also to boycott the people who sponsor the club sooner or later the message might get through although I doubt it while they keep getting their dividends and ineos keep bailing them out they will hold onto their milk cow

  2. as usual it sounds like empty cans making ear piercing notice, why not boycott all old Trafford matches to hurt their pockets instead of trying to hurt their pride, these Glazers are financial vampires that do not even care about the UK let alone the noizy old Trafford attention seekers, the bottom line is the Glazers is not the problem it’s the UK fanebase that feeds them hundreds of millions pounds annually by clogging old Trafford, even if these fans dress in Russian or Chinese colours with Iranian flags them Glazers won’t even bat an eye because you the fans make their 🏦 managers laugh in overdrive so stop your childishness and stay away from old Trafford, another problem is Sir Alex Ferguson who refuses to oppose the grisly Glazers imagine he must boycott old Trafford and stand outside old Trafford instead with a banner Glazers out it will have an instant effect, but since he is in their side you UK. based fans are a flippant mickery

  3. Doesn’t it strike these dense United fans funny why Sir Alex Ferguson never ever criticizes the bloodsucking Glazers ? because he dances Cheek to Cheek with them bloodsuckers
