Collecting Manchester United Memorabilia in 2025

We look at the trends in collecting Manchester United Memorabilia in 2025, with tips on who to collect, where to find the best bargains, and how to unearth undervalued gems.

With the Reds languishing in the nether reaches of the Premiership, it’s fair to say that they are not having the best of seasons. In fact you have to go back fifty two years for a worse performance, which preceded a drop in 1974 to what was then known as the Second Division. One wonders just how long Ruben Amorim can hold on to his tenure as head coach, particularly after his January 19th comment labelling them as ‘probably the worst team in the history’.

Legacy Stars

Thankfully for us, performance on the pitch is not matched by the value of Manchester United’s Memorabilia, which continues to soar in value. Predictably, the higher profile players sell for the most money, but there is also a healthy market in legacy stars, such as George Best, Bobby Charlton and Cristiano Ronaldo. Prices for those who have passed away continue to soar, because of course, they are not signing anything anymore. We look at some of the higher priced items below, courtesy of our friends at Firma Stella.

Up-and-Coming Players

The trick is to spot the stars of the future, Up-and-coming stars sell for a fraction of the price of the leading players, so spotting them early is key. If you can spot the next Ronaldo, or George Best then you are on to a winner. There are future stars in the making in the first team, such as Chidi Owen Martin, who made his debut on the 16th of Feb this year at just 17 years old. Anorim has publicly stated that he would help young players, so watch out for youngsters like Godwill Kukonki, Bendito Mantato, Jack Fletcher, Sekou Kone, Ethan Wheatley and Amir Ibragimov who is just 16.

Manchester United Women’s Team

Manchester United’s women’s team is rapidly goring in popularity and so is the interest in signed women’s memorabilia. Once the sole preserve of the men’s team, even a few years ago, there are items available from the team’s biggest stars. The signed shirts are significantly cheaper than those from the men’s team, but these could well become higher priced gems of the future. Check out some of the signed shirt you can buy now:

Lower Priced Items

While the holy grail of collecting is Man Utd signed shirts, there are many other items that you can collect that may be a little kinder on your bank account. Signed Manchester United white cards, which are just a player’s autograph, can be bought for under £3! These can potentially be attached to a photograph in a frame at a later date and displayed in a frame. Signed photos start at around £14, depending on the player, but there are other items as well. You can buy a signed Manchester United Football from around £500 and signed boots for under £130.

Whatever items you end up buying, make sure they are properly looked after, preferably in a frame with non-reflective glass, which won’t fade the signature. Also look out for provenance when you buy, especially if buying online. A signed certificate of authority from a trusted retailer like Firma Stella is your guarantee that the item is genuine
