It’s never a good sign when fast food restaurants, like Domino’s, are making fun of your manager through their advertising campaigns.

We all know companies will try to latch on to Manchester United because it’s still the biggest football club in the world, even if it seems like the glory days are behind us.

Under-fire Erik ten Hag is feeling the heat after a slow start to the season. It’s so hot now that Domino’s have their ovens at the ready, with jokes trying to roast a certain Dutchman.

Domino’s have pulled a PR stunt by placing a job advertisement outside Old Trafford, as shared on X, on the same day Sir Jim Ratcliffe was spotted in the area along with Joel Glazer.

The advertisement board also bans Ten Hag from applying. As if they’d reject the opportunity to serve endless United fans hoping to quiz Ten Hag on his team selections and why it’s gone so wrong for him at Old Trafford.

We’re certain that this will get a few laughs from rival fans on social media. For us, however, it’s pretty small time.

Anyhow, Domino’s pizzas belong to the gutter.

One of the biggest questions fans will have for Ten Hag, is what does he have planned for the foreseeable future as he attempts to turn things around?

United are 14th in the Premier League and have drawn their first two games in the Europa League.

If he is to remain in charge, United’s form must improve after the October international break. We have a decent run of fixtures and Ten Hag needs a run of wins after going four games without a single victory.

United have not had many injuries and he can’t use the same excuses as last season after being backed by INEOS in the summer.

  1. Cruel, but funny. Could you imagine Ten Hag working at Dominos, though? He could explain to a customer why they were served Hawaian instead of Pepperoni: “It’s all about rotation. We have so many toppings and we have to give every topping a go”.
