Alejandro Garnacho is being linked with a move to Barcelona.

The Manchester United star has three goals to his name this season, but it hasn’t helped that the team continues to struggle on the pitch.

After a slow start to the season, United are 13th in the Premier League and have drawn their first two matches in the Europa League.

Garnacho usually shines even when the mood around United is low. His talent, at the age of 20, makes him one of Erik ten Hag’s best players.

However, Spanish outlet Sport claims Garnacho’s relationship with Ten Hag is at a low point and this result in Barcelona making a move for the Argentina international who is under contract until June 30, 2028.

Italian giants Juventus are mentioned in the report as well as the low starting price of £50 million

Ten Hag has more chance of growing hair than United accepting a £50m bid for Garnacho.

Perhaps the dreaded thought of losing him in the future is an inevitable one, but right now his focus will be on developing his story at United. There’s a lot of work to be done for Garnacho to become one of the world’s best players and he can achieve that at Old Trafford.

  1. I obviously want to keep Garnacho. But if he were to be sold, I’d want at least £80m this coming summer. A year or two down the road, that could be £100m+.
