19 goal contributions last season: Man United run the rule over attacker at Euro 2024

Manchester United are reportedly keeping tabs on the Galatasaray winger Baris Alper Yilmaz.

According to a report from Haber Sari Kirmizi, Manchester United officials watched the player in action against the Czech Republic in the UEFA Euro 2024. Yilmaz produced an impressive performance for Turkey and he was chosen as the man of the match as well.

It will be interesting to see if Manchester United follow up on their interest with an official proposal to sign the winger at the end of the season. Players like Jadon Sancho and Antony have been quite underwhelming and Manchester United could certainly use a quality winger.

The Turkish international is exceptional when it comes to taking on defenders and beating them in one versus one situations. He will also add goals and creativity to the side from the flanks. Alper Yilmaz had an impressive season with Galatasaray as well, scoring seven goals and picking up 12 assists in all competitions last season.

Meanwhile, Manchester United will face competition from Tottenham Hotspur, who sent officials to watch the player in action as well.

The Turkish international winger will certainly be excited about the possibility of playing in the Premier League and the opportunity to join one of the biggest clubs in the country will be hard to turn down.
