Manchester United have been linked with a move for Atalanta midfielder Ederson.
The Reds are keeping tabs on the Brazilian midfielder ahead of the summer transfer window.
Atalanta recorded a memorable 3-0 win over Liverpool in the Europa League on Thursday night and United reportedly had scouts present at the game to keep a watchful eye over the 24-year-old midfielder.
Ederson put in an impressive display against Jurgen Klopp’s side, and it remains to be seen whether United follow up on their interest with a formal offer at the end of the season.
According to HITC, Manchester United and Newcastle were keeping tabs on the midfielder during the win over Liverpool.
Tottenham are also believed to be sniffing around Ederson’s signature. All three clubs share something in common because they all need to strengthen their midfield departments.
United need to find a central midfielder who will add defensive cover and control to the side. The latter has been lacking all season and it is clear that Casemiro’s days at the club are numbered after a string of shocking performances.
