Manchester United are reportedly planning to reward Willy Kambwala for his impressive performances by offering the teenager a bumper contract offer, as per HITC.

The 19-year-old is on the back of making just his second senior start over the weekend, having been named in the line-up to take on Liverpool at Old Trafford. His maiden start came on his first-team debut in December 2023 away to West Ham United in the Premier League.

He was called upon to deputise for the ever-growing list of sidelined players, with the central defence area undoubtedly affected most by the debilitating injury crisis.

Kambwala put in a spirited shift against the then-league leaders, often going toe-to-toe with their relentless attackers, and has since received plaudits from his manager, fans, pundits and even current players; Andros Townsend lauded the young Frenchman on Monday evening, as well as former Red Teden Mengi.

As it stands, Kambwala’s contract will expire in 2025, so United are keen to get his terms extended and seal his long-term future with the club.
