Klopp can’t help but react to chants of ‘Jurgen’s cracking up’ from Stretford End in final Old Trafford trip

Last night’s draw between Manchester United and Liverpool means Jurgen Klopp is winless against the Red Devils in his final season in the dugout.

It was yet another chaotic affair, although not to the degree of March’s emphatic FA Cup clash which culminated in United winning 4-3 in extra-time.

On Sunday, both sides were forced to settle for a point apiece, and it didn’t hugely benefit either of them; United failed to make significant ground in the top-four race, while the Merseyside outfit were knocked off of the top spot and moved into second place behind Arsenal.

Klopp would have known from the moment the full-time whistle blew that the ramifications of dropped points in the current three-horse title race could be vital, so the Old Trafford faithful took it upon themselves to add to his woes with a comical chant.

The Stretford End bellowed out: “Jurgen’s cracking up, he’s cracking up!” on repeat as the German made his wait to the tunnel, with him eventually reacting by cupping his ears and shrugging his shoulders before laughing along with the crowd, having seemingly taken the joke in jest.
