Erik ten Hag was nominated for the Premier League’s Manager of the Month award for February, but that doesn’t change the fact that bookmakers see him as the second most likely manager to be sacked in the top-flight.

Betfair have slashed odds on the possibility of Ten Hag being sacked by United down to 10/3. That’s a drop from last week’s odds which were priced at 6/1.

The change comes after Sunday’s 3-1 defeat to Man City at the Etihad Stadium.

With Ten Hag priced as the second most likely Premier League manager to lose his job, top spot went to Burnley boss Vincent Kompany, who is priced at 7/4 to get the axe at Turf Moor.

Next Premier League manager to get sacked

  • Vincent Kompany – 7/4
  • Erik ten Hag – 10/3
  • No manager to leave – 4/1
  • Mauricio Pochettino – 5/1
  • Chris Wilder, David Moyes – 10/1
  • Eddie Howe – 12/1
  • Thomas Frank – 20/1
  • Sean Dyche – 22/1
