Casemiro voted man of match after guiding Manchester United into FA Cup quarter-finals

Manchester United fans have voted for Casemiro as their man of the match after watching Erik ten Hag’s side win 1-0 at Nottingham Forest.

The win puts United into the FA Cup quarter-finals and we’ve ended up with a home draw against Liverpool in the next round.

After a poor 2-1 loss to Full on Saturday, it was crucial that United responded by the City Ground.

Ten Hag credited his players for improving their performance in the second half and showing a fighting spirit to grind out the result.

The Reds were solid defensively, but they made up for that with poor finishing in the final third. It was another game where United wasted several chances on goal.

Casemiro’s late winner looked like a Mark Robins moment against Forest. I certainly hope it is and we continue our journey into the FA Cup semi-finals by beating Liverpool.
