Manchester United coach Eric Ramsay will bid farewell to the club this Sunday following the Manchester derby, as per Simon Stone.
The Reds shared their announcement of Ramsay’s departure on Monday evening after he reached an agreement with Major League Soccer side Minnesota United to become their second head coach in history, as well as the youngest-ever one in the division (32 years old).
His responsibilities will be shared among the remaining United coaching staff for the remainder of the campaign, after which a decision will be made on whether he will be replaced.
Ramsay has been at Old Trafford since 2021 when he joined from Chelsea, having worked in their Cobham academy setup. The Welshman was initially hired as a player development and set-piece coach during Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s reign but took on added duties as his time in Manchester continued.
He also held an assistant role with Wales’ national team in 2023.
