Roy Keane predicts winner of Super Bowl 2024

Former Manchester United captain Roy Keane has given his verdict for the Super Bowl LVIII between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers.

Keane is a self-professed 49ers supporter, and he even made it out to the team’s Levi’s Stadium in Januuary to watch their play-off victory over the Green Bay Packers.

However, the Irishman thinks his preferred side may just come up short on Sunday against the Chiefs.

“I’ve gone against the Chiefs the last couple of games and it’s backfired on me,” Keane said, in his Sky Sports predictions video, release in the lead up to the Super Bowl.

“I’m a 49ers fan but I think the Chiefs have world-class players obviously and a great coach.

“As a 49ers fan, I’d love to see them win it but I’m going to go with the Chiefs to win it.”

Manchester United must beat Aston Villa before the Super Bowl

On Sunday, for United at least, it’s about getting the job done against Aston Villa.

The game kicks-off at 4.30pm from Villa Park and it’s an opportunity for Erik ten Hag’s side to build momentum in the race for top four, which will be heating up by the week.

Meanwhile, it will be a late one for Keane or anyone else planning to stay up for the Super Bowl. I feel like I will be in my second sleep by that stage.
