Man City star Erling Haaland makes hilarious claim about Manchester United supporters

An interesting claim on Manchester United’s supporters was made by Manchester City star Erling Haaland.

Haaland isn’t the most well-liked person on Manchester’s red side. The striker’s brief stay in the Premier League has already resulted in a great deal of suffering for United’s followers.

The Norwegian has scored five goals and provided two assists against United in just three appearances. He loves playing against Erik ten Hag’s team.

The Premier League top goal scorer has admitted that he enjoys joking with Manchester United supporters on the street. Haaland acknowledged on The Official Man City Podcast that he has so far been enjoying English culture.

“I like it,” Haaland admitted. “I like the vibes and positivity from the fans. When I meet people I joke with them.

“I said it before the banter, not only the English players but the English people in general as well, because I love to joke a bit.

“I like joking with people. I enjoy it. People will see me on the street, United fans or whoever, and we joke a bit with each other. I think it should be like that.”

It’s encouraging to see players like Haaland admit that he appreciates interacting with the public, especially those who follow his current team’s bitter rivals.

United were once close to signing Haaland back when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was the manager of the club. The move did not materialise and the Red Devils were deprived of a world class addition to the team.

Let’s hope our defenders can keep Haaland quiet when we travel to the Etihad Stadium at the start of the next month.
