Man United hold talks with two former Premier League managers to replace ten Hag

Under the new ownership of Sir Jim Ratcliffe, Erik ten Hag’s job at Manchester United may not be completely secure, since it is believed that recent conversations have been held by the club with two big name managers.

According to Caught Offside, Man United have shocked Antonio Conte by contacting him while the club considers whether to keep Erik ten Hag next season or appoint a new manager.

There are rumours that the former manager of Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur is in negotiations with United alongside another former Premier League manager.

The constant rumours of ten Hag’s sacking have cooled down after recent impressive results by the team.

This month, the Premier League is anticipated to approve Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s £1.3 billion bid for a 25% share, which will give INEOS complete control over football operations.

The sporting hierarchy at United is about to undergo significant alteration. With the appointment of Omar Berrada from Manchester City as the team’s chief executive, it has already begun.

In case they decide to split company with the Dutchman at the conclusion of the season, United are said to have started the process of lining up a successor.

Caught Offside has reported that the Red Devils have started talks with Conte and former Wolves boss Julen Lopetegui.

It is rumored that United’s inconsistent form and results this season have worried the club’s decision-makers.

And if the Red Devils don’t improve on their disastrous first half of the season—in which they came last in their Champions League group—dismissal may be imminent.

They also lost 3-0 at home to Newcastle United in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup, and they are presently six points adrift of the top four in sixth place.
