Two pundits in agreement over ‘established’ United ace who ‘has absolutely everything’

Kobbie Mainoo consistently being one of Manchester United’s standout performers is something we’re all going to have to get used to, isn’t it?

The starlet marked a significant personal milestone on Sunday when he netted his first-ever senior goal to double the Reds’ lead away to Newport County.

In true United fashion, they went on to concede two goals either side of half time against the League Two outfit, putting their hopes of FA Cup progression in disarray with their inability to kill a game off. However, Antony and Rasmus Hojlund were able to restore United’s winning margin with goals in the 68th minute and 90+4th minute respectively.

Mainoo has become a mainstay in the starting 11 and is only continuing to impress viewers with every outing he makes. The teenager looks mature beyond his years when up against such experienced opposition and oozes class with every touch, pass, flick or feint.

Pundits laud Mainoo yet again

Reacting on BBC Sport’s commentary of the tie, Danny Murphy heaped praise on the youngster’s shoulders, saying: “He’s been a real plus for Manchester United this season. The emergence of him. I know he was known around the club but he’s really taken to first-team football so easily. He looks very established. Good without the ball and comfortable on it. He’ll save them a lot of money in the market.”

Micah Richards also shared his verdict in the studio, adding: “What a player he is. Off the ball, on the ball. He has absolutely everything.”
