Dan Gore joins League One strugglers Port Vale on loan

Dan Gore will spend the rest of 2023/24 on loan at Port Vale.

The midfielder, 19, has been strongly linked with a move on loan this summer, but it sounds like Port Vale offered the youngster the best assurances which is why he has joined them on a temporarily deal, as confirmed by ManUtd.com.

After joining the League One strugglers, Gore will aim to get a wealth of experience in the senior game between now and end of the season. He was named on the bench six times in the Premier League and on three occasions in the Champions League this term.

Gore could considered the first half of the season as his breakthrough at United since he made two appearances, coming on as a substitute against Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup and against Aston Villa on Boxing Day.

He has won the FA Youth Cup with United and was last season named as their reserve team player of the year.

Port Vale are currently 18th in League One, but we’re just hoping to see Gore get plenty of game time. His best chance of developing is in a competitive environment.
