‘Twenty is plenty’ – Bayern Munich fans brought anti-Glazer banner to Old Trafford

Manchester United were knocked out of the Champions League on Tuesday night after losing 1-0 at home to Bayern Munich.

Kingsley Coman scored the only goal of the game after 70 minutes of action, with United unable to find a response. Bayern spent most of the match in second gear and didn’t give away any chances on goal.

Elsewhere, FC Copenhagen beat Galatasaray to join Bayern in the last-16. United started and finished the night at the bottom of Group A as a result.

The United and Bayern fans were, however, united in protest on the evening. You could see banners in the away end with one reading ‘twenty is plenty’ while another read: £50 Glazers overkill’.

Bayern changed United fans £26.50 per ticket back in October. The Glazers didn’t return the favour and decided to rip off the Germans.

The banners were greeted with a round of applause followed by the usual ‘we want Glazers out’.
