Manchester United XI vs Bayern Munich: 2 changes as Varane starts

Manchester United must beat Bayern Munich to have any hope of reaching the Champions League last-16.

The Reds are currently rooted to the bottom of Group A after three defeats in five matches. We are also relying on FC Copenhagen vs Galatasaray to end as a draw in order for us to reach the next round.

Our only win in the group phase came against Copenhagen at Old Trafford in October, so the players only have themselves to blame for being in this dire position when we should have qualified easily – even as runners up.

United could have the misfortune of suffering Bayern defeats twice and going out of the Champions League on each occasion, but we hope that won’t be the case tonight.

Without further ado, let’s take a look at tonight’s team to face the Bundesliga champions, with two changes from the team that lost 3-0 to Bournemouth on Saturday.

Manchester United XI vs Bayern

Andre Onana;

Diogo Dalot, Harry Maguire, Raphael Varane, Luke Shaw;

Softan Amrabat, Scott McTominay;

Antony, Rasmus Hojlund, Alejandro Garnacho
