Juventus considering move for Manchester United midfielder

The January transfer window is edging closer and Manchester United are expected to be active in the mid-season market but perhaps not in the capacity some would expect.

It is unlikely that United will invest large sums to strengthen Erik ten Hag’s squad but there are a number of players who could depart the club

Donny van de Beek is one of those players as the Dutchman continues to struggle with breaking into the side. The midfielder has struggled with injury concerns over the latest year but earlier this season, Ten Hag admitted he was left out of a matchday squad due to other teams being interested in signing him.

So far this season,  Van de Beek has featured for just two minutes in the Premier League and it’s highly unlikely that he will return to the side anytime soon.

Now, it is being reported that Serie A giants Juventus are considering a move for the former Ajax star.

That’s according to Il Bianconero, who say that Juventus are contemplating a proposal to bring the player in in the upcoming January transfer window.

It’s stated that Juventus could propose an initial loan deal for the remainder of the campaign, with the club then having the option to make that deal permanent at the end of the half-season term.

It’s safe to say that Van de Beek is desperate for a new lease of life as it’s becoming increasingly obvious that it’s not going to happen at United.
