(Video) Bruno Fernandes visibly gutted after Copenhagen loss

Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes was visibly gutted after Wednesday night’s 4-3 Champions League defeat to FC Copenhagen.

The Portuguese Magnifico has never been one to hide his emotions, especially on the pitch where he often seen in the referee’s ear.

However, Wednesday night came as a blow for the Reds after losing 4-3 to the Danish champions. It showed how frail we are defensively but also how big decisions continue to go against us.

United’s Champions League hopes are hanging in the balance as a result.

The latest collapse doesn’t just fall on the players, though. The referee was shocking and Marcus Rashford’s red card changed the game.

A video doing the rounds shows the effect it had on Fernandes, as seen below (via @FAFiltvedt):

The 28-year-old wears his heart on his sleeve, although questions have been asked recently whether he is cut out to be club captain. My problem with that is I don’t see enough leaders in the dressing room.

Fernandes scored United’s third goal from the penalty spot in the second half. It gave United the lead for a short period before Copenhagen turned the game around.
