Manchester United players have had to resort to wearing replica kits during matches instead of the approved Adidas clothing.
The popular sportswear giant are trying to find a solution after receiving a number of complaints from United players due to the kits being too tight.
As a result, United have not worn the official home socks since the second game of the league season back in August.
According to the Daily Mail, the tightness of the kits has been an issue for every player in the squad, but now Adidas are planning to make some “light amendments” which could take a month to finalise.
Andre Onana is named in the report as a player who has had problems with the new authentic range from Adidas. That is why the Cameroon international switched to a looser replica version.
United’s poor form cannot be put down to having kits too tight because we’ve lost five of our opening 10 league games this term. The latest defeat came in the derby on Sunday as City walked away from Old Trafford as 3-0 winners.

It might not be ideal that the kits are too tight, but I don’t see other players complain when they wear Adidas gear. Perhaps it’s a news day on the cards?
