The Carabao Cup team of the round has been revealed after the midweek action as Manchester United beat Crystal Palace to start their defence of the trophy.
Erik ten Hag’s made seven changes to his side as they breezed past Palace at Old Trafford. Goals from Alejandro Garnacho, Casemiro and Anthony Martial secured United’s place in the next round.
As a result, there will be a repeat of last season’s final as United host Newcastle in the fourth round.
The official Carabao Cup Twitter account has revealed their team of the round, based on ratings from WhoScored, and it features two Manchester United players.
Diogo Dalot features at right-back, while Tuesday’s man of the match Casemiro earned a rating of 8.85.
