Daniel Gore makes Manchester United debut on 19th birthday

It was an incredible moment for young Daniel Gore as he made his Manchester United debut on his 19th birthday at Old Trafford.

Erik ten Hag rewarded the youngster for his hard work down the years in the academy and he will hope it’s the first of many opportunities to prove himself.

With United leading Crystal Palace, Gore came off the bench to replace new loanee signing Sofyan Amrabat.

This is a moment Gore – and other academy products like him – would have dreamed about for years. Now it’s become reality.

Gore played alongside Kobbie Mainoo in the 2021 FA Youth Cup winning side and has made a big impression in senior training sessions. He had been included in multiple match day squads at the start of the season but had yet to make an appearance.

Until tonight.

We would like to congratulate Gore on his latest milestone achievement at the club. Hopefully it’s the first of many.
