(Video) Roy Keane and Micah Richards get into heated row with fan after alleged assault

Roy Keane and Micah Richards got involved a heated argument with a fan over an alleged assault at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday.

It is believed that Keane has been confronted by the fan in a foyer as he was waiting to get into a lift to take him from the top of a stand down to pitch side.

According to the Daily Mail, the man in question allegedly aimed a head butt at Keane and hit the Irishman on the chest and chin.

Footage of the row did the rounds and it was widely shared online, leading to the police launching a probe.

The two pundits were part of Sky Sports’ coverage on Sunday as they showed two matches (Crystal Palace vs Wolves, Arsenal vs Manchester United).

In the video below, you can see Richards angrily collaring a man who allegedly assaulted Keane.

The police have since confirmed they were investigating the matter, although no arrests had been made.

Sky sent the following statement to the Mail: “We understand the police are investigating an alleged assault by a member of the public immediately preceding the footage circulating on social media. 

“In the footage seen, Micah Richards was acting to defuse a situation.”
