Manchester United willing to let Mason Greenwood leave for free

Manchester United are willing to let Mason Greenwood leave the club on a free transfer.

There is lots of speculation doing the rounds on deadline day and we are now seeing Mason Greenwood linked with a move to Italy or Turkey.

According to talkSPORT, United are coming to terms with the idea of allowing Greenwood to leave on a Bosman.

It has already been announced that the suspended 21-year-old will never play for the club again following his arrest in January 2022.

The striker has not played for United since he was arrested on suspicion of rape, assault and making threats to kill.

United decided against giving Greenwood a second chance after their internal investigation. Now he intends to launch his career elsewhere.

The report names a number of interested clubs like Besiktas, Roma and Lazio.

Earlier this morning, Fabrizio Romano confirmed that the player had been offered to Lazio but a decision has yet to be made by the Italian club.
