Dermot Mee signs new deal at Manchester United

Dermott Mee has signed a new contract at Manchester United.

The 20-year-old goalkeeper has previously been sent on loan to the Fulham Academy, Trafford FC, Runcorn Linnets, and Witton Albion.

Earlier this year, Mee made four league appearances for National League side Altrincham after joining them on an emergency loan basis.

Mee also travelled with United to San Diego for pre-season, but he did not feature in the game against Wrexham. Nathan Bishop and Radek Vitek got the nod instead.

Now, he has put pen to paper to sign a new deal at the club, as confirmed by ManUtd.com.

With Dean Henderson set to leave for Crystal Palace and Tom Heaton ruled out with an injury, Mee could see himself become third or fourth choice at Old Trafford unless he moves out on loan again.

United have been linked with Altay Bayindir from Fenerbahce to come in as Andre Onana’s back-up.

Congratulations to Mee on receiving his new contract at United.
